Type of wine
Wine made with Monastrell of hundred- years old vineyards. During the harvest all processes were made by hand, the grapes are harvested in boxes of approximately 10Kg. On arrival at the winery the grapes are separated on a selection table and the bunches are de-stemmed and it is started a controlled fermentation process.
When the fermentation is finished the grapes are crushed and the wine goes to barrel where it starts the malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for a minimum of 20 months in French oak barrels.
Intense ruby color. When you smell it, it is aromatic with stand out hints of red mature fruits, balsamic hints such liquorice and incredible toasted tones because of the fine quality of the barrels. On the palate it is structured, powerful, flavourful and at the same time very sweet. In this wine we find notes of our terroir and the Monastrell at its maximum expression.
Best enjoyed between 16º/18ºC. Pairing with red meat, bush meat stew, cheese and chocolate. To enjoy this wine we recommend opening the bottle one hour before drinking.
