The menu

With Diego Orozco in the kitchen and Juan Antonio front of house, the menu takes on board a number of promotional elements involving Barahonda wines. An example might be Carro 2008 to accompany diced red tuna with a sweet soya sauce with sesame seeds, avocado and mushroom tartare with a carpaccio of king prawns, Castañona potatoes or salty, crunchy vegetables from our own fields. With loin of bacalao in an olive oil confit we have a white Barahonda 2008 and with Murcia style suckling pig in a wheat terrine with its own juice an Heredad Candela Monastrell 2007. And as a final flourish the dessert, the true passion and speciality. Nobody leaves without dessert, or at least they should not! Tocinillo (egg pudding) with passion fruit with Gianduia ice cream, “beach sand” and cocoa crunch or an Island Flotante of toasted cream with an infusion of strawberries and refreshing ice cream, why not accompanied by the Golden Nose: Bellum el Remate, our red sweet wine, delicious!
