Weather
Yecla has a distinctly continental microclimate, different to the rest of the province, with minimum tempertures as low as -4ºC/, -7ºC in winter and the highest during summer reaching 39ºC. The average rainfalls is around 250-350 l / year, and with some 3000 hours sunshine per year.
Its altitude between 600 and 800 metres is responsible for a big night-day temperature variation which helps produce a slower maturation and greater quality development in the grapes.
