In 1850, Pedro Candela Soriano started making and selling small quantities of wine locally. By 1925, his son, Antonio Candela Garc\u00eda, had founded a small winery, which his own son and grandson, Antonio Candela Poveda, would later expand into the thriving business we know today.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2006, the fourth generation\u2014Antonio and Alfredo Candela\u2014sought to raise the bar in wine quality, thus founding Bodegas <\/span>Barahonda<\/span>.
