There are companies that become part of a city’s landscape. Businesses that are passed down from generation to generation, becoming more than just a brand: they become part of the collective memory. This is the case of Verd\u00fa, a company founded in Yecla in 1893 that, more than 130 years later, continues to evolve without losing its family essence.<\/p>

In this new episode of Yecla by BH, we talk with representatives of the fourth generation of the Verd\u00fa family to learn how a small hardware store linked to the primary sector ended up becoming a leading company in hardware and solutions for the furniture industry.<\/p>

To talk about Verd\u00fa is also to talk about the evolution of Yecla as an industrial and entrepreneurial city. For decades, the development of the furniture sector transformed the local economy, and companies like Verd\u00fa knew how to grow alongside it, adapting to the needs of each era without losing their connection to their origins. Currently, the company boasts over 20,000 products and a significant commitment to digitalization and online sales, while maintaining the close customer relationships and family business philosophy that have guided them since their inception.<\/p>

In the interview, we discussed topics such as generational succession, technological transformation, the evolution of the furniture sector, and the balance between tradition and innovation. We also discovered how a company with deep roots in Yecla has successfully expanded internationally while preserving its identity. Reaching a fourth generation is no accident.
