Dessert Making Workshop

The third and the last session of the cooking workshops within the program ‘Marzo Gastronómino Barahonda’. Last Thursday 27th March we finished with the Dessert Making Workshop, which was the workshop with more attendance. Cocoa powder, sugar, mint ice-creams, Fisherman’s caramel, coulant, vanilla or  yogurt sticks are products of our recipe book.

Why if we have some shells?

We have created a walnut shaped silicone mould where we put some manitol (a kind of sweetener) with cinnamon and cocoa powder. When solidified, we get the perfect imitation to a walnut shell. This is the result.

What do we know about wine?

Local festival Menu

Because of the Local Festival, celebrated in our city from the 5th until the 15th of December, our restaurant has prepared a menú mixing the traditions of Yecla, to whom this winery is totally rooted, with the innovative cuisine of our restaurant. During these days families go out for lunch or dinner and one of the options is coming to Barahonda. Noche tinta in Barahonda

Because of the Wine Touristic Sessions organised by Ruta del Vino de Yecla, it was celebrated in Barahonda the third edition of ‘La Noche Tinta’. The event consisted of a feast made by our restaurant and a tasting of the first Monastrell 2013. After that, ‘The Liverpool Band’ was on the stage inside the winery playing songs of The Beatles.
