Candelas Magazine was born as a natural extension of Barahonda. Not as a conventional magazine, but as a way to pause and take a broader look at everything that is part of the project and that often goes untold. The work in the vineyard, the rhythms that shape each wine, the decisions that are not always visible, or the people who sustain the day-to-day operations. All those things that happen between one harvest and the next, and yet define who we are.
This first issue, focused on spring, explores some of those moments. From the vine’s weeping to budburst, through the evolution of the project, our presence in international markets, and the story that continues from generation to generation. But beyond its content, Candelas represents a way of communicating. A publication born from within, yet one that also opens a window to the outside world. To share not only what we do, but how we do it.
Because, in the end, wine cannot be understood through the bottle alone.
